So what about the coffee?

Our Decaf comes from Mexico via Ensambles Cafés Mexicanos in partnership with Green Coffee Collective. These guys go to great lengths to get us delicious, fresh coffee so we can roast it and bring it to you! We wouldn’t be able to do it without them!

Our Decaf uses the mountain water process…what does that mean? It means it is decaffeinated using no chemicals. Pure water from Pico de Orizaba ensures caffeine is removed by soaking the beans in water, which softens them and allows caffeine to be removed while preserving the flavour.

Once roasted, we are left with lovely flavour notes of brown sugar and bright citrus, including orange! If you’re looking for a new Decaf or want to see what speciality Decaf is like, we really recommend giving this a try!
