Inspired by the creativity of the Hebrides, Broadbay – The Artist’s Way celebrates both exceptional speciality coffee and the remarkable artistic community of Lewis and Harris.

Produced from carefully selected beans grown on Mount Sunzu Farm in Zambia, this lighter medium roast beautifully showcases the coffee’s natural sweetness and delicate fruit character. Expect a smooth, well-balanced cup with rich sweetness, gentle cocoa notes and a bright citrus finish.

A Farm Making a Difference

Nestled near Zambia’s highest mountain, Mount Sunzu Farm is recognised not only for producing outstanding speciality coffee but also for its commitment to the local community.

The farm provides year-round employment for around 120 local people, together with additional seasonal workers, while investing in healthcare, education and pension schemes. It also supports local infrastructure through improvements to roads, clean water projects and solar energy, creating lasting benefits for both its workforce and neighbouring communities.

Inspired by the Hebrides

This release tells a different story from our Stornoway Coffee. It celebrates the creative spirit of the Hebrides and pays tribute to Gill Thompson, founder of Open Studios Hebrides.

What began with just twelve artists between Tong and Tolsta has grown into a much-loved annual event, opening studios across Lewis and Harris and giving visitors the opportunity to meet talented local artists, explore their work and discover the islands through their creativity.

Like great art, great coffee is best enjoyed slowly.
