Whisky Coffee On the Rocks
This is what we were all looking for, a whisky infused coffee. The team here at the Hebridean Tea Store gave it a big thumbs up!
We tried it all: simple black coffee, flat white, espresso, cappuccino – you name it. This coffee always tasted fantastic.
We also noticed that the whisky flavour comes out even more once the coffee cools down.
Our American friends would most likely call it whiskey coffee, but, you know, up here in Scotland it is simply whisky. It does not really matter how you write it, as long as you drink it!
Oh, just to be on the safe side, we brought a cup to our very own whisky specialist in town, Iain from “Island Spirit” here in Stornoway.
He approved :-)
So, there you go. The girls here at the tea store are always good for a surprise, this time it was a whisky infused coffee ^^
