The first ever subscription box for tea and wool

Subscription boxes are not new, but this one is

At least I think it is?

I was mulling over it since weeks and now finally managed to set up a subscription box service here on the website. To be really honest, I am a bit scared as this is something completely new for me. But hey ho, fortune favours the brave or so they say.

Now, what is it?

You might already know the gift boxes which we introduced not too long ago. People really took to them so I thought it would be great to change it a bit.

You now can subscribe to a monthly box with tea and wool. You will get two pouches of tea plus a ball of wool. For knitting or crocheting. Ideal for socks, scarves, hats etc. I tried to break it down a bit so that you can pick between the various teas we have like black tea, green tea, fruit, rooibos etc. But it will still be a bit of a surprise what I put in the box. Maybe I will tweak it at one point, see how it goes …

The wool, as always, will come from Wool for Ewe here in Stornoway, my local wool dealer. So you are definitely supporting at least two local businesses, which is a really good thing to do!

I don’t know, if it will all be plain sailing right away. If not, and I hope that it will be plain sailing !!, then please have patience while we are trying everything we can  to get this new feature properly up and running.

My lovely friend Harriet said it would be a great idea to have a place to showcase all the wonderful things you are making. So, it is now Sunday evening, and I was working on it all day long. Time for a nice cuppa and feet up, I guess.
