Keemun Tea “Castle Brew”
A mild, mellow and aromatic black tea with a short leaf from the province of Anhui.
This Keemun tea we are offering has a mellow, light flowery taste.
Jardine, Matheson & Co. exported large quantities of Keemun tea to Britain in the middle of the 19th century. Therefore it is quite likely that this tea was also enjoyed here in Stornoway at Lews Castle, which was owned by Sir Matheson.
