Vietnam Rainforest Kim Tuyên BIO is a remarkable black tea grown in the remote, mountainous region of Tam Đường in Lai Châu Province, nestled in the northern reaches of Vietnam near the border with China. This area, known for its lush rainforests and biodiverse highlands, has only recently begun to receive global recognition for its exquisite tea production.

The Kim Tuyên cultivar, initially developed for oolong and green teas, reveals surprising elegance when crafted into black tea. Grown at elevations reaching 1,200 metres, the tea plants thrive in a cool, misty climate and mineral-rich soil—conditions that lend the leaves their distinctive character.

Harvested by hand, the twisted leaves are flecked with golden tips, indicating their quality and care. The cup they produce is a bright copper-red, offering a smooth, rounded flavour with natural sweetness and a touch of depth. Unlike most black teas, Kim Tuyên undergoes an extended fermentation of 1.5 to 2 days, a slow and mindful process that results in its uniquely gentle aroma and nuanced finish.
