Sencha Makinohara – a unique Japanese tea
This highly aromatic Japanese green tea comes and is home in the Makinohara Hills, which lie south of the Japanese main island of Honshū.
There, the tea plants get a lot of natural sunlight, which results in the remarkable taste of Makinohara tea.
The solid and dark green leaves are typical for a Sencha from this region. The cup is yellow-green with a fresh fragrance.
The taste is slightly nutty and mild.
