Jun Chiyabari BIO* – top quality from Nepal
The success started in 2000 when three dedicated tea lovers founded this exclusive tea garden in East Nepal. It stretches over 75 hectares and produces, amongst other teas, half-fermented premium qualities in close corporation with several smaller tea farms.
These great teas are serious competition for the Oolong teas of Darjeeling and Formosa. Only a few lots, just under 100 kg net, are exported yearly.
The leaves and the infusion have an intense scent of hay flowers, a complex, freshly aromatic and slightly earthy character with a delicate sweet spiciness.
Real tea connoisseurs will highly appreciate this rare tea speciality.
