You may have read that our new “Christmas Market” will open on the 1st of November.
What is this, you may ask? We thought it might be a good idea to take the stress out of the Christmas Shopping and will suggest some ideas to you.
Christmas Baking
At the market, you will also find all our Christmas-related teas, biscuits, cookies, and chocolate, as well as some selected gift ideas.
This year, we will again have many German and continental biscuits, sweets, gingerbread, stollen, chocolate and other sweet treats.
German Stollen
The stollen will be handmade by Ella at the Small Highland Bakery .
Her baking skills are outstanding; last year, the stollen sold out quickly. Each handmade stollen weighs between 250 and 300g and is made with the best ingredients. Honestly, I cannot wait for them to come in 🙂 . The great thing about stollen is that it does not get dry or stale so quickly. Traditionally, it is made on the first advent to be consumed at Christmas. But we will offer it to you in November, so keep your eyes peeled!
Kingsizefairy and Pixie will also be creating handmade gift ideas, and we bought a great selection of beautiful, hand-picked tableware and other lovely things.
